Buttermilk Campground is located on the shore of beautiful Island Park Reservoir in Island Park, Idaho at an elevation of 6,200 feet. A mixed growth lodgepole pine forest provides partial shade and summer wildflowers are abundant. Island Park Reservoir offers boating, waterskiing, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing, as well as boat ramps and fish cleaning stations. There are47 single sites, 6double sites and 1 group site. There is a boat ramp.
