The Westbank

Arguably the best view of the falls, the Westbank Restaurant and Coffee House overlooks the Snake River GreenBelt from the western bank of downtown Idaho Falls. Newly renovated in 2020, the Westbank now offers 8 different rooms with numerous combinations to arrange the over 12,000 square feet available for meetings, conferences and events. 

With on site catering, built in AV and other services needs, any business, private event or group can book with ease of mind knowing there is in-house expertise to attend to every detail whether that’s tables and chairs, linens, decor, security, catering or technology. In partnership with Andx Audio Visual, Westbank offers top tier sound reinforcement and visual solutions. Decor is not just stock. The venue claims feng shui and has a list of linens to choose from while dialing in the atmosphere for a family reunion or executive retreat. 

 The Westbank has been a pillar in the Idaho Falls community since Willard R Wood first opened the doors as the Westbank Restaurant and Coffee House in 1963. Rooted in community, the venue was a pillar in the ’60s-’80s hosting the Rotary Club, Civitans Club, National and State leaders, and especially fundraising and impacting thousands of people throughout the decades. 

With over 150 parking spots just west of downtown Idaho Falls, the convenience factor mixed with an air of nostalgia, the Wesbank Convention Center is an easy choice for an ADA compliant venue that can handle high vehicle volume. The Westbank’s location also provides pedestrian access to downtown Idaho Falls hotels, restaurants, bars, shopping and museums.
